What about the kids who come from families that can't afford that? What happens to them, are they left behind?

I hope no one tells me yes because that's bullshit. Either they all go or no one goes.

I can't say that every school does this, but the school system my kids are in have a 'scholarship program' Parents who are in hardship can apply to have their child's trip paid for by the program.

The PTA sponsor's it with the money they make from fundraisers.
