News13 Fla.
BANGOR, Maine --
The wife of a missing Seminole County firefighter says she just wants him to come home.

Firefighter Jerry Perdomo has been missing since Feb. 16 after he traveled to Maine. Maine State Police said foul play is suspected in his disappearance.

Monday afternoon, Tonya Perdomo said she is devastated by the incident and described Jerry as a family man. She said their two young children keep asking about him.

Tonya said her last phone conversation with Perdomo was brief, due to poor reception. However, he told her he loved her and their children and that he would call her later. She described the conversation as normal.

AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine State Police say a Bangor man is a person of interest in their investigation into the disappearance of a Florida firefighter.

State and Bangor police held a news conference Monday in Bangor to update the public about the search for Jerry Perdomo of Orange City, Fla., the Seminole County firefighter who’s been missing since Feb. 16.

Police say his disappearance is due to foul play.

Maine State Police searched a home in the Waldo County where it’s believed Perdomo was last seen.

The house is owned by the father of 24-year-old Daniel Porter, of Bangor. Police say Porter is a person of interest in the case and have interviewed him and Porter’s 25-year-old girlfriend, Cheyanne Nowak. The couple is believed to be the last people to have seen Perdomo.
