...Lloyd (man who discovered the remains) had a feeling that the remains belonged to Dunn based on articles of clothing found at the scene, but was not positive until officials publically confirmed the identity on Friday.
"To think that someone could do that to a beautiful child, it just breaks my heart," Lloyd told the station.
The investigation into Dunn's death is ongoing. No charges have been filed in the case.

Former Colorado City Manager, Pete Kampfer, has confirmed that the area where the remains were found had been searched before. I wonder if Hailey was buried and somehow became unearthed, or if her body was moved from another site, or if she was simply missed during the searches.
Very curious as to what articles of clothing were found; what exactly Hailey was wearing varied a bit in the missing person descriptions.
Shawn Adkins was self-reportedly the last person to see Hailey on the afternoon of December 27th 2010 around 3 pm, when he claims Hailey told him she was going to spend the night at a friend's house. He had suddenly walked off his job that same morning. His phone stopped pinging for several hours that day as well.
Hailey was reported missing the next afternoon by her mother, exactly 28 months ago yesterday.
