Yeah, they haven't spoken publicly yet but they did want to let the public know, through their attorney, about the memorial fund.
This bothers me a bit too.
It's one thing to accept some donations from those in the community to cover funeral costs if they can't afford it, but another to establish a formal memorial fund, imo.
Staying open minded, but it is odd that the parents are off the radar on this. Wondering if they've been poly'd. Also wondering if there will be a press conference with status soon; I'll check around.
