Suggestions on what to do and what not to do on a cruise

Liz and I are taking a week cruise, pulling out of the San Diego harbor on Saturday- going to Mexico.

Any hints and suggestions on what to do and what not to do?

Don't know anything about the West coast of Mexico. But on the East coast of Mexico and throughout the Caribbean, I can tell you some fun stuff that does not cost a ton of money. Get a spring suit, snorkel mask, a fanny pack, and a ton of large milk bone dog biscuits. Just float on your stomach and feed the buscuits to the fish. The biscuits need to be soggy; so put them in the fanny pack but leave the zipper open a little. You can get a cheap underwater camera and take amazing pictures. If money is not an issue; then at each stop the cruise ship will give you a list of excursions. They usually have you sign up the day before in one of the central areas of the ship.
