I did have a girlfriend in college. She was a Catholic girl. We French kissed, I breathed sexily on her neck, massaged her butt bone, danced, she modeled her swimsuit for me. We rented To Wong Foo...I stared at the screen too intensely, made the mistake of telling her I had tried on women's clothing when I was younger...and she broke up with me after Christmas break.

And in the 20 years since then?

Not a sniff! Why is that clang?, I can't even compare you to Steve Carrell in the 40 year old virgin, that character had a career and was financially independent.

I've had sniffs just not sniffs where I reciprocated their affection for me. I've been financially independent in the past, it's just been riddled one other bad stretch of unemployment than the current one. But yes I've never had a "career". My longest job lasted 8 years.
