There's no body or any evidence that Kyron was killed, but odds are against him being alive. Family members are almost always at the top of the suspect list. Though Kyron's bio parents appear to have been cleared long ago, public suspicion remains heavily on his stepmom, Teri Horman.

Still, there is some possibility that he was taken off school grounds that morning by a visitor who lured him away and wanted to keep him; that possibility is reportedly being investigated more closely now.

We've seen kids who were missing for years turn up alive under similar circumstances - Shawn Hornbeck, Steven Stayner, Jaycee Dugard, Michelle/Amanda/Gina... I hope that, against the odds, Kyron Horman's name will be on the list of survivors one day.
