I saw an old meat grinder with a wheel churn used as a planter not long ago. It was clamped at the end of an old table desk. Pretty cool.
There's a vendor at our weekend swap meet who makes lamps outta old pipes and plumbing fixtures -- always fun to see things transformed. He's used colanders as shades on a couple of them. Nice lighting effect.
