Hey........I wanna go to Cuba, get some scuba diving in, smoke a cigar, and drink too many Cuba Libres while listening to Rumba in the streets of Havana, Mags. That's a goal for 2016.
Russia hasn't built that base in the 50 years that we've been punishing Cuba, so I don't see why Russia would be permitted to do it now that we're lifting embargoes and mending fences with the Castros.
Anyway, Cuba's gonna bank some big US tourism revenue outta the deal and, at present, Russia's economy is going down the drain due to global sanctions against them. But, there is a hell of a lotta Chinese business underway in Cuba -- damned Commies always stick together.
