Travis' family feels very strongly that Arias should get the death penalty, blueberry. After the trial jury hung on sentencing, the Alexander family made the decision to go to penalty-phase retrial rather than offer Arias life behind bars.
I would have been okay with Arias getting life without the possibility of parole. But, because she craves attention so much and has the ability to play other inmates, I'd rather see her get the death penalty -- not so much because she might someday far off in the future get executed, but because she would be isolated from anyone other than guards for years while living on death row.
