I agree that Joe Biden had a tough time standing out in the crowded Democratic field, and he sometimes seemed unfocused or struggled with his stuttering early on (which is when those pundit clips were taped).
But, he did very well with primary voters and in the one-on-one debate with Bernie, plus I think he's widely regarded as much more trustworthy and compassionate than President Trump.
Those personal characteristics, along with Biden's executive and crisis experience, could help him defeat Trump at this trying time for our country (and the world). The impacts of the coronavirus pandemic will still be a major factor in American life come November (and long after), in my opinion.
