"Reality" is mostly a figment of human imagination. What it refers to is shared delusions that are fostered by ideological dogma, so an "alternate reality" is merely a competing "reality", and if there's one thing that an ideology hates, it's competition.

Let me be clear . . . MY reality . . . OR . . . if you prefer: My actuality, MY realism, MY observation, MY experience . . . MY truth.

My "reality" does not compete; nor is it rigid or inflexible.

However, it is not swayed by unsupported, emotional or opinionated bullshit, from others.

Far easier said than done, in a world in which bullshit is common currency.

And by the way, I wasn't implying that you live in a "reality". I didn't know what your thoughts are on reality in general. Now I do, I guess.
