From the five year old nephew of my GF, during a potty time argument with his mother at bedtime. She was doing the standard mom harangue of "stop whining" while trying to get him changed into pajamas. He came running out into the common area, pants around his ankles, stopped and said in a very serious voice: "No, mother. I prefer to keep whining."
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
