I haven't seen a first-hand account from the store clerk either. The description and info about the store clerk came from what dad Deorr Kunz Sr. told the interviewer in the posted interview.
I tried to catch coverage of the case on Nancy Grace last night but kept getting interrupted. It was mentioned that the friend of gramps (who's in his 70s and has some health issues) was a male and not someone well-known to the family. I'm waiting for the transcript to be published to see if any more details about him were given.
Have you come across anything about gramps or gramps' friend Adub?
