All good and valid points, but I would remind every one to focus on the jihadist's stated goals. They believe in the 12th Imam, and are trying to hasten his return. They need to bathe the world in blood so he will rise and lead them to victory.
Disrupting this country's infrastructure is way easier than you think. Imagine the chaos that would be created if they filled 100 trucks with binary explosives and did suicide attacks on bridges and tunnels. Binary explosives are very difficult to detect because the components are safe and stable until mixed.
People do not live where they work; imagine the chaos trying to get into Manhattan, all the folks in Jersey who could not get to Philly, trying to get in and out of DC using only local roads and the insanity in Hampton Roads and Norfolk.
How will the big cities move enough supplies to feed millions of people; riots will break out and millions will not survive. Imagine the chaos on Wall Street; then the panic not being able to get access to your money. The pentagon has war gamed all this and the results will not be good.
If you read "The Plan" as I suggested, you would see that current events make more sense. The Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated governments in the west; their goal is to create division among us. Occupy Wall Street, The War on Women, Gay Marriage, Black Lives Matter and now the unrest on college campuses purpose is to divide us so when all hell breaks loose the devastation will be maximized.
The solution is simple, prepare, educate yourself and find common ground with people you disagree with. If we stand united as a free people we can defeat this plan.
