I have a gym with some free weights and cables in my garage and I worked out my legs last Monday after not exercising for a while. The next day I was so sore that it hurt to sit down and it lasted for a week. If you do it regularly though you'll get used to it and the pain won't be as bad. They have a post workout recovery drink at GNC that will help with sore muscles, but I don't know how healthy it is for you. They also have pre-workout energy drinks that give you more stamina while exercising, but again I don't know how healthy it is for you.
