Out of sheer morbid curiosity I decided to watch The Grizzly Man Diaries on Animal Planet. I know the story of this idiot and know how he died, but this previously unreleased video footage (or so they claim)and the text from the notes he kept are put together into a series of programs.
HOLY SHIT. I knew this guy was a bit twisted when I heard about him and watched another program about him, but Geezus H tap-dancin' CHRIST....this guy was not wrapped tight at all. The way he talks to the animals and especially the foxes he "adopted" as if they are people and know what he's saying. When one of the fox kits was killed by a wolf, this guy was blubbering into the camera. Now, sure; it's sad that a cute little fox kit was killed, but fuck....IT'S NATURE.
"His" moose...I can't remember now what he named it, but I shit you not, this dumbfuck called his moose "cute". A huge, 1200 pound male moose with a rack you could park a car in and kill you in about 2 seconds.....cute. That man was BENT.
Anyone else following the series??? I hope to be astounded by further stupidity during the next episode. I just wish I could see footage of this dumb fucker being eaten by the bears he "protected". Him and his stupid bubblehead girlfriend.
Hopefully one of his "pets" will rip his face clean off with a "playful" swipe of their paw.
I hate people who try and humanise animals especially wild ones, I can remember the shock when that tiger went for siegfried or Roy (I forget which, I can't realy tell the two Kraut fruits apart)throat and people were horrified. Its a tiger for fucks sake not a tabbie cat !
