I just find that the IDEA of having certain things is better than the actual process. Owning a big house is great...until you pay the taxes, bills and upkeep. Nice car? Cool until you spend every waking moment on its upkeep. Pool? Cleaning and maintenance.
I understand the process and concept of the acquisition of money. I get the stock market. But I lack that fundamental drive guys who are successful that way all seem to have. I simply don't really care enough to chase money.
Plus this may come as a shock to some, but I have been known to be somewhat impolitic, irreverent and possessed of an acerbic temper that works against my forward advancement on the political ladder.
