THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT

Blueberry: I can't tell if the distraught aunt is saying "Oh my god, what was she doing in my house?!", or "oh my god, why would she do it in my house?!" in the last seconds of the audio.

The initial articles indicated that Deasia was living with the aunt. But, the later articles don't. It's possible that because Deasia was found sleeping there, first reporters interpreted it to mean that she lived there.

So, it's still unclear whether Janiyah's mom got access to the baby with family consent, or if Deasia instead sneaked into the house, killed the baby, and then went to sleep in one of the rooms.

One thing's for sure, to me, the aunt and her adult son were straight up scared shitless. They knew who did it, but didn't know where she was and didn't want to go looking around for her. They wanted cops on the scene and fast.

I think everyone who works for the police department is trained to be cold as possible. Even the damn office clerks.

I went to pick up a police report the other day because my son was in a fender bender at the fault of the other driver. The lady at the window was a nasty old bitch. When I walked in there and asked her if I was in the right place she sighed and rolled her eyes at me. Then every time I said thank you she only replied with 'yep'. I feel sorry for the guy that is married to that old asshole.

Deasia Watkins, 20, was charged with the aggravated murder of her 3-month-old daughter today. She will be arraigned on Friday.

Prosecutors acknowledged that Watkins was suffering from serious mental issues when police found her covered in blood in a bed at the aunt's home; they confirmed today that they won't seek the death penalty for her.

When police responded to the 911 call, they found the baby had been stabbed multiple times, decapitated, and the knife was placed in baby's hand.

Social workers had placed the baby in the temporary care of the aunt, who authorities say was warned to keep Watkins away from the baby unless social workers were present.

Prosecutors said the county welfare agency followed court orders in finding a relative to care for the baby and checking on her numerous times. But they said social workers didn't know the mother apparently moved into the aunt's home about a week before the slaying.

Watkins will be locked up in a mental facility for the rest of her life, I believe.

The Spice of Death -- Arizona

This guy should never have been released from a penal/correctional mental health facility, or should have been civilly committed by the state when his sentence expired.

He spent 10 years in a state mental hospital after stabbing a relative in 2003. He was found "guilty, except insane" on charges of attempted second-degree murder in the attack, a verdict that spared him prison time.

Here's what happened just months after a team of psychiatrists opted to set him free in society again.

^ Kenneth Wakefield, 43, faces one count of first-degree murder and two counts of animal cruelty.

Police discovered his wife Trina Heisch's decapitated body along with two dead dogs inside a closet in her apartment near Camelback Road and 13th Place in Phoenix on July 25. They also located a large amount of blood and several bloody knives inside the apartment.

Wakefield gouged his own eye out and cut off his left lower arm after the murder. He told police he was trying to get the evil out of Trina and that he'd used Spice shortly before the incident, court records show.

In November 2014, a state psychiatric board issued an order for county prosecutors to try to extend his stay after parole psychiatrists deemed he would no longer be a danger to society if he was released to residential care. The board's chairwoman has said the panel did everything it could in the case to ensure community safety.

The Maricopa County attorney's office acknowledged earlier this week that it was unsuccessful. "Evidentiary issues precluded us from proceeding with the civil commitment process," said spokesman Jerry Cobb, declining to elaborate because the case is under seal.

Wakefield's wife Trina Heisch also had a history of mental illness. A judge found her to be "guilty, except insane" on charges of attempted second-degree murder in the stabbing of her 15-year-old son while he was sleeping in January 2000. She was ordered to spend 10 years in the state hospital and was eventually released.

Heard about this guy last week. We really need to fix the mental health portion of our system, although it's not just here. Some psycho in Israel did 10 years for stabbing someone at a gay pride rally, got out and stabbed someone at a gay pride rally.

A few years back, Morgan Freeman was going through a divorce and there were a bunch of media reports about him having a 10 year relationship with his step granddaughter with whom he was often pictured out and about. They both denied the rumors.

Today, the step granddaughter, actress E'Dena Hines, 33 (pictured with Freeman above) was stabbed to death outside of her upscale Washington Heights home in NYC just before 3am. RIP.

George Hudacko, 65, witnessed the attack from his window and called 911. He told reporters that Hines' live-in boyfriend (not identified) screamed, 'Get out, devils! I cast you out, devils! In the name of Jesus Christ, I cast you out!,' as he continued stabbing her all the way up until the time the police arrived.

Authorities later took the boyfriend/suspect to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

E'Dena Hines's boyfriend, ^ Lamar Davenport - 30, has been charged with her murder

He was an aspiring rapper with a rap sheet. A law enforcement source also told the newspaper Davenport may have been high on cocaine at the time.

Davenport had six past arrests, including marijuana possession and petit larceny.

I've never done cocaine, but I don't think coke alone is gonna cause a normally stable person to perform a murderous exorcism on a public sidewalk?

I won't be surprised if Davenport had a history of mental illness and/or he was on something else when he butchered his girlfriend.

Even if he wasn't and/or isn't, he has a direction for his defense team.

^ Yeah, he does.

And, in this case, I think it's probably a true one.

Davenport shouted all kinds of shit, very loudly on a NYC sidewalk, about how he was ridding E'Dena of demons, how Jesus was compelling him, etc... He drew witnesses to his brutal crime in the process.

Then, he reportedly continued stabbing her, even after she was dead, right up until police arrived and took him away.

He didn't kill her in private and then try to cover his tracks. He didn't kill her in public anger/passion and then flee the scene before cops arrived. If he wasn't whacked, for one reason or another, I don't think the murder would have gone down like it did.

That doesn't mean that I don't think he's responsible or that he didn't know what he was doing; it's too early to know. I just don't think, based on the few known facts, that it was likely a right-minded or well-planned murder plot.

I don't hear much about bath salts around here anymore...it's fake weed in the news almost daily.
Why anyone smokes that shit when weed is readily available is beyond me. They're both illegal.

I don't understand the whole synthetic marijuana deal either.

I haven't seen tox reports for killer Davenport yet, but one of his friends and ex-girlfriends says he used "Wet" regularly. I'd never heard of it before. It's a joint dipped in PCP or laced with PCP.

They also said that the couple had been in a volatile relationship for 9 years, lots of fighting and drugs involved.

Police arrested Edward O’Neal IV ^ on Wednesday, accusing him of stabbing his pal, Ryan Roberts (inset), to death and dumping his body near an overpass.

The 18-year-old O’Neal was in Harris County Jail on a $50,000 bond Thursday afternoon. A spokesman for the district attorney said O’Neal was slated to appear in court on Friday morning.

Prosecutors said on Thursday that O’Neal voluntarily confessed three times to the killing, and tried to commit suicide two days after Roberts’s body was found.

While police haven’t revealed a suspected motive or many details of the killing, relatives of both the suspect and the victim say O’Neal was obsessed with the dark lord and have implicated the teen in the gruesome crime.

Authorities began investigating O’Neal after Roberts’s mother, Christina, reported her son missing on Jan. 15 when he didn’t return home from school.

Days later, the horrified mom received a tip about where Ryan might be found and alerted search teams. Christina Roberts says a cousin of O’Neal came to her and said O’Neal confessed to the slaying. The cousin then shared a grisly account of how Ryan Roberts allegedly died.

“He sat there and said that he hit my son in the back, stabbed my son multiple times in the side,” Christina Roberts said at the time of O’Neal’s supposed confession. “My son was screaming and begging for his life and then the final blow was to the neck.” Ms. Roberts said she hopes O'Neal gets sentenced to life in prison or gets the death penalty.

Roberts said O’Neal was so close to her son that he had lived with the Roberts family for a spell—and was even at her home during the search for Ryan. “He sitting here in my house, looking at me in my face, trying to help me find my son,” Roberts told a reporter. “He knew everything and come to turnaround, he was the one who killed my child.”

In January, KHOU interviewed the father of the teen whom Christina Roberts believed had killed her son—weeks before police even named a suspect. At the time, the dad, who spoke anonymously, said his son was a devil worshiper but not a murderer. “They was best friends,” the man told KHOU. “He go to his house, he come over my house.”

The suspect's father said his teen was in a psychiatric ward and has a history of mental illness. “I knew that. He’s worshpping the devil and stuff,” the man said.
