Yeah, a lot of the girls/women he raped were young, naive and very trusting of the Dr. Huxtable image he projected. They really believed he'd chosen them to mentor because he saw such potential in them. In several cases, he spent a lot of time with their families before starting their 'mentorship', according to their consistent personal accounts. Grooming.
Some of the girls/women he preyed upon were strong initially though. He broke them down by drugging, mind-fucking and threatening them.
Cosby still won't accept responsibility for any of it. He really is a very sick individual.
Yet, he's still got a couple of enablers by his side. His publicist and his lawyer claimed yesterday that Cosby is the victim of 'a racist conspiracy' and compared Bill Cosby's jail sentence to the persecution of Christ.
His wife was not at his sentencing hearing. She'd stood by him til then, at least publicly. I don't know if she was complicit, brainwashed, scared, and/or just biding her time hoping he'd be put away.
