I think privately held businesses should have the right not to do business with those they don't approve of. I view it as their loss, the person holding the credit card (or whatever) can give their money to someone who will appreciate their business. I can't imagine turning my nose up at money because I don't like that someone has a same sex partner. That's just dumb, they aren't hurting the gay person, they are affecting their own bottom line.
