It's not clear to me if the MAGA patron was looking to stir shit in a liberal bar just after Trump's inauguration, or if he and his buddies were really only looking to grab drinks after visiting a memorial. In either case, I'm glad it didn't turn into something really ugly.
Sad that people can't wear anything they choose wherever they want off-the-clock, but I think the judge got it right. The MAGA guy argued that the cap was an expression of his spiritual belief, which is covered by religious anti-discrimination laws. The judge ruled that it was instead an expression of his political beliefs (which are not covered by anti-discrimination laws).
