This is about what they're (ISIS) doing, not what I or other Christians are doing.
Here I am defending Christianity again to someone who is somehow trying to equate it to the evil scum who would kill innocents every moment of their waking lives.

The Christian church has evolved.
Fire and Brimstone is no longer the overriding message from the pulpit. In fact, I don't ever hear it anymore.
Even in the last 10-15 years, the loathing of homosexuals has taken almost a complete 180 degree turn.
Are there still zealots who'll pass judgements on others and point to scripture? Sure.
But, Jesus' message, if you really study it, is one of love, forgiveness and Grace.
Please don't try and lump it in with Islam.
Don't justify your beliefs to me. I'm not lumping Christianity in with Islam. I'm simply stating what's common knowledge and common sense -- people who practice the same faith aren't all united in their interpretations of the same religious books and don't control everyone else of the same faith.
And, news flash MS: not all Christians have 'evolved'.
Some Christians would denounce you, no doubt, for what they consider your twisting and white-washing of the Old Testament.
