That's their prerogative, but what a way to live.

What does that have to do with the way someone lives? I can't force myself to believe in an omnipotent God that gave men free will to torture and rape children because Eve fucked up and ate the apple. To force myself to have faith in that would be fooling myself and God if there is one. Just because you believe it and I don't doesn't mean you live your life anymore morally or peaceful than me.

It's not so much morality or peacefulness, to me it's more the idea that we human beings are no different than some bug that ends up smashed against a windshield.

We have souls and the greatest intelligence on the planet.

To me, the idea that our death ends with nothingness is very hard for me to believe.

I'd have a difficult time living my life with that thought.

Doesn't make me more moral or peaceful.
