DO YOU PRAY?
#12
What midwest spy said.

I have struggled quite a bit in the last few years with spirituality, especially with those who have passed on. I know we have free will and I think God weeps when we weep.
Anyway Midwest explained it pretty good and I like that. I have a friend who has been very sick, I know a prayer won't keep him a live, but I pray for comfort for his family, I pray for comfort for him. Most of the time I don't know what to pray for in this situation.
I am trying to pay attention to those blanket statements of "I'll pray for you" etc etc. What does that mean? And when people say things like, "God spared your place from fire last year" I say, "What about those 3 fire figthers that died?" Is it because someone didn't pray hard enough? So, sometimes the things people say are just things that have always been said, and they are not thinking about what they are really saying.
I'll pray for them!
