The public phase of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump begins tomorrow when two top American diplomats — William Taylor and George Kent — are set to testify about Trump's and Giuliani's Ukraine dealings.
I'll be out of town for a few days starting tomorrow morning, so won't be able to catch any of this week's hearings.
Here’s a rough schedule of Wednesday's proceedings:
--9:00 a.m.: Journalists are allowed in the hearing room.
--9:45 a.m.: The public is allowed into the hearing room.
--10:00 a.m.: The House Intelligence Committee will formally begin the hearing.
--10:05 a.m.: Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff and ranking Republican Devin Nunes will give opening statements. The two witnesses will then give their opening statements.
