There was a Newfoundland at the fishing camp in the Arctic Watershed, it would chase bears. Thing was gigantic.

I had a newfoundland for 16 years. I loved that big teddy bear. He had a mean streak too, he was not one two be messed with. A German Shepard started a fight with him at the dog park once and it was a ferocious fight with my newf getting the upper hand. Freaked every one out, that was the last time I ever took him to the dog park.
