Rootilda, I didn't have an ideal childhood. I left home young and worked, didn't finish high school and lots of other stuff. I can't hold that against my parents now. They did the best they could with the limited knowledge they had. My father committed suicide. When they are gone, they are dead a long time.
Now my mother has Alzheimers I have been really aware her spirit is still strong even though she has difficulties in some areas. I have been blessed with a strong bond and closeness with my mother, it is very loving and it is something I missed out on when I was a child.
Her father spoke to the press, he didn't kill anyone. Princess Diana used to speak to the press and play the game. She should honor her father, that's what you do. To completely ignore him is cruel and elder abuse. That's also my professional opinion as a mental health nurse.
