So, I'm fucked.  Just found out today, Dad is going to a nursing home after he gets out. Can't afford a 3 bedroom/ $950 bucks a month apartment by myself. Got to find a new place to live. I have a place in mind, but need to check on availability. Thank God the utility bills are in my name so it should just require a few phone calls to switch services to the new place. My brother Ed is freaking out because his free ride is almost over.

Good. He needs to freak out, maybe this is the kick in the ass he needed to grow up. You've been busy holding down a job and helping to support him while he did nothing. He could have done a lot to help your father and he choose not to. He plays a big role in the situation he now finds himself in. If he tries to blame any of this on you, punch him right in the face.
