A brief educational moment concerning later term abortions

Once the baby has a chance to thrive outside of the womb which is around 24 weeks there is absolutely no reason to perform an abortion anymore. At that point it's too late. If there are complications and the mothers life is at risk they can get the baby out immediately without having to kill it. A botched abortion law, that's just lovely.

Nobody is killing babies for godssake. It is so rare for one to be born after an abortion that I have been unable to find even one instance of it and I've read the only evidence is "anecdotal".

republicans will have you think that women are getting knocked up willy nilly and when the baby is due to be born they are running off to the Dr. to get rid of it. Nope. That's not how it works, not even close but as you've seen there are plenty of people willing to believe that.

Regarding your question "but why should the law even exist in the first place". You have George Bush to thank for that. It's a dumbass law for dumbass people who think viable babies are being ripped from their mother's wombs and murdered for no good reason.
