I think there should be less unprotected sex and a culture in which parents take an active role in their children's lives. These numbers suggest a flippancy over sex and pregnancy and abortion which is pretty bad. I am not suggesting that people should be puritan celibates and/or marry and have to stay together forever for sake of the kids, just that if you have sex, unless you want kids, wrap up and if you have kids be there for them as much as you can. This study out of New York suggests a major break down in those values.
