IDK I have seen Duchess, Rootida and a few others say things about Trump and anyone that supports him that make me cringe. I have also seen FryGuy say things that make me shake my head. I may have done the same. I do not need anyone to "defend" me nor do I feel a need to "back up" anyone's statement. If I agree I would say so. HOTD has a way of words that can put people down without actually saying it, but that's just good debate no matter how frustrating. Fry guy can have a good point also and that point sometimes gets lost.
In the end I can just brush it off from a political debate or religious one and post something else praising the person I just had it out with. I don't hold grudges and like to just get it out there then move on. Who really cares? Life is way to short to hold that crap in at any point.
I also think everyone has something to say except maybe Big Mark now there's a guy that you just never know what side he's on and who really cares anyways I certainly don't.
Well, it's good to know that you're not lying awake at night worrying about any of the thousands of back-and-forths that have gone down here over the years and fantasizing that you've been called a child molester when you haven't. I'd have been surprised to find out that you'd actually become such a feeble and feckless festerer.
When I was out for a few weeks recently, I spent a couple of hours catching up on the threads when I logged back in. In this political forum, I agree with you that it's plain to see those who are firmly and passionately planted on one side politically, mostly regardless of the issues at hand -- you among them. People are pretty outspoken regarding their views and alliances, which I like.
Biggie leans one way in his expressed opinions most of the time, but he can still be objective and funny about people and issues, as can others. The mix of stances here is pretty reflective of society as a whole right now, in my observation. They're generally interesting and sometimes humorous to read.
However, having read hundreds of posts in a short time, I can't agree that it's realistic to suggest anyone other than FryGuy so rarely possesses the will or ability to have direct exchanges with other posters (who aren't planted on the same side or buying what's he or she is selling) without resorting to repetitive ad hominem strategies, ad naseum.
No one else does that as a frequent matter of routine, despite false claims to the contrary. That's his M.O. though and he is, of course, entitled to carry on with it, just as everyone else here is free to either invest/engage in it or just skip on by as they see fit. Different strokes and all.
