^ wow, I arbitrarily picked out the year 2000, thinking that, by that time, any death penalty conviction would have to be rock solid, and, voila, looks like I'm right again.
My grandfather actually was with the FBI in the late 40's and early 50's. Said he met Hoover once. But no, I've not worked for them.
My own personal feelings about the death penalty?
I want rock-solid, 100% proof that someone is guilty. If not, LWOP.
