An April Fools is no joke in two U.S. states today as heavy snow caused chaos on the roads and power cuts - just like the weather experts predicted.
Heavy wet snow clung to road signs and trees in Maine and if it wasn't snowing in New Hampshire it was raining.
Up to 10 inches of snow is expected in some areas of eastern New York - where there were light flurries in the city - and New England.
