Has Tampa washed out to sea?

They were spared if you want to call it that. Where do you live? Just curious, not trying to stalk you or anything.

A bit to the north of NY City. Last time I experienced a hurricane was in the early 90's, I think. Very rare occurrence.

You're a brave lass, Sally. Has to be terrifying going through that when you're right at sea level. Glad you're OK so far!

I've never been in a direct hit before and don't want to be, I'd definitely evacuate for that. Right now the sound of the rain and wind is kind of peaceful. By tomorrow morning is when we'll get the 60-80 mph which really isn't even that bad either.
