What's also tragic is it was obvious he was depressed, but was getting no help. He drove his car off a cliff shortly after being arrested and released for abusing his girlfriend, but told the police he had fallen asleep earlier last year. He had a history of pretty serious repetitive head injuries.
Pretty sure he did it in the chest that way to preserve his brain the way Dave Duerson did.
NFL has to rethink their game, especially in light of what the Saints were really up to last year.
