I agree! That's partially what has me so skeptical of the mom! If you've read through the thread, there are a lot of comments thinking the mother knows more than she's saying.
The mother called the cops as soon as she a call from Serita, relaying the info about Tiffany talking to Johnny. Two hours had passed between the call Johhny-Tiffany call and the mother being informed.
Look at this circle of people. They're all a bunch of low lifes and criminals. People like that aren't going to immediately call the police about anything. Johhny was recently out of prison and on probation. If drugs were involved then calling the cops would have gotten him busted. Criminal activity was going on that night, most likely, and no matter who knew what, these aren't the type of people who look to the cops when shit comes down.
