also... emailing/posting/texting etc. leaves the tone out of what would have been said... so if I said "what are you doing here?" there's no tone in that. I could have said "what are YOU doing here?" or "what are you doing HERE?" ...those mean different things depending on what word you put the emphasis. so in all this...we don't know what his tone was. (I hope this makes sense)... if I say "who are you?" is completley different than "WHO are you?" or "who are YOU?". so either way, if such a conversation was overheard, then it would make total sense that he might have known the suspects and not expected them at the Straub house...or maybe he knew one of the people and there were more than one... etc etc.
I'm hearing from some people locally that the house wasn't ransacked...but that it did look like there had been a struggle... ransacked may have been just an easy way for people to describe the scene..who knows.
