Maytee believes she has some kind of psychic powers. There are people who claim to be former "clients" of hers who have successfully "used her" in some sort of way, perhaps as a medium, so this kind of talk is probably nothing new for her.

Are you saying that "come sleep with me" is a metaphor for
"visit me in my dreams?" Why not just say that?
It's just a guess. YMMV. Why she phrases anything the way she does I have no idea. One thing we know, for certain, is that there is no way the physical Johnny will be sleeping with her. So, it sounded like she was speaking about dream time/astral world/spirit world, to me.
It's really very sad. She wouldn't be the first person desperate to commune with the dead. John Edwards (not the former senator) comes to mind.
