Maybe while JC was getting LS from work someone like T and others use the key to go in the house to take some stuff like drugs or cash.Decide to disarm the panic alarm on the security system or something and used the book left out by LS parents in case of alarm issues.Looking around the house they hear them come home or surprised by them. A scuffle occurs and felt there was no choice but to finish them off because they knew them.Now T in a state takes her time to come up with story.Picking her up? she had a car.Talked to them was a rouse to show she isn't involved but cant tell a good story and hung herself. This is just my thoughts right now.
