Only six years for a death? THAT IS HORRIBLE.

Well, I guess Donald and 2 of his friends went there looking for trouble with guns in tow, and that's probably why they let him, Johnathan Jackson, plea to involuntary manslaughter, he wasn't looking to kill anyone that night, and Donald and his buddies broke in-crashed the party he was at then started waiving a gun, so he just wanted to defend himself, why else would they let him plead down like that??

i read some where that they beat jackson is why the judge was forgiving. gonna have to look for it. hope someone will came along a verify it for me. probably a link on here.

I don't know if they beat Jackson or not, but one reason given for the moderate sentence was that Donald's aunt wrote a letter to the court:

Judge Zmuda said he was giving Jackson the minimum sentence because of the circumstances of the incident, his lack of a felony record, and because of a letter from the victim's aunt. The judge said the letter informed him of some of the bad decisions made by Corrigan that led him to initiate a robbery that night.
