And I would bet having her where they could at see how she was doing was very important to them, even if it meant having the BF there too, and if what allieayy wrote is true, LS had just lost an apartment (Nov/Dec) with one friend due JC's behavior. As parents, sometimes with adult children we put up with what we would not put up with if they were under age. I think if your a parent of an adult child, a daughter especially, you'll understand.
I do have a child, a daughter whom I love more than life itself, she's not a adult yet. She's still young. I hope I'm never placed in the situation that LS's parents were & as I said, I'm not placing blame on anyone but the actual person or people who committed this crime. I do have a tolerance of zero for shitty men... and women but being that I'm a single female & mom, I especially have a zero tolerance for abusive, in any way shape or form, men & if my adult daughter were involved with one, I honestly cannot say how I would handle it. Right now I'd say absolutely no way would I allow someone who was abusive into my home or condone that kind of relationship because I can't stand the thought of anyone hurting my child. But that's just what I THINK I'd do, if I were actually faced with that, who knows. Again, this is why I'm not passing judgement, I've never walked in the Straubs shoes & pray I never have to. I understand Kittys explination & I sympathize.
