They probably spent some time inside the house trying to LS and JC to tell them whatever it was they wanted to know, and maybe they didn't even want to know anything. I think they were still there the first time the cops showed up which was after 1am, then realized that Ms. T made her phone call and then got the hell out of dodge! So they were there maybe from 10pmish (Lisa still in uniform) to first time cops checked the house. (lights on, TV on...then some lights off and TV off the 2nd time cops checked).
