If that's true, Maytee had given a version of events to 911 without speaking to Tiff. All of her info came from either (assuming) her husband's talk with Tiff (he called Tiff; right?) or from Maytee's talk with the girlfriend of JC's best friend, who Tiff called. Maytee was upset at Tiff for waiting to call anyone when according to Tiff, she had no initial cause to be alarmed. Maytee may have given all 3rd hand info to 911 (a game of telephone tag: Tiff > JC's best friend's girlfriend > Maytee) and it is that version of events that became "the story" in the media.
