My guess is that while the drive and walkway were clear, there was ALOT of snow on the ground. Particularly in the back of a house and she's pregnant, maybe not dressed appropriately with snow boots, and didn't see anyone or anything out of place in the house. It was dark, except for that light on the stairs....no reason to go around back...I don't think I would have.
I know I wouldn't have, especially if I were pregnant..
Poor TW she couldn't walk in the snow to check out things around LS's house when she went there because she's preggers,,,, SHE HAD A YOUNG MAN WITH HER MR. Z, he was the friend with her! Why couldn't Mr. Z check things out around the house? He wasn't preggers! That's who was going over there with her that night.
