Exactly!! And even if it's proven that calls were made at those times, we only have 1 person's word regarding who made them and why.
If that's the case, then that settles it. This case will never be solved ? ... cell towers for the phones will give the answer. Didn't someone state, it takes 20 minutes to drive from where ever TW was, to Lisa's parents' house? IF TW was using both phones at the same place, cell towers will show it.
The perps could have been operating JC's phone.
I don't know. I get way off track, when I try to delve any further, lol ... There's a profiler, from FL (forgot her name now) .. she once said, usually your first gut instinct is right, for the most part, once you piece things together, as in 'if it looks like a duck, & quacks like a duck.... ' ... My very first thoughts were "drugs". JC put himself around some very bad people, & word of mouth, got him & Lisa killed. Since the digital scales were on the counter, along with pieces of white plastic, AND a zip lock bag, I immediately figured JC had come into a pound of weed. Just my first thoughts. I think someone knew he was getting dope that day, & they wanted it for resale themselves.
As far as being set up. I start getting hazy on that. I honestly believe TW's statements here, the other night, & will until something shakes that feeling.
My gut instinct also told me drugs when I read about the murders, and the scales, etc. confirmed it in my mind.
I don't know if they were set up by TW to be murdered or maybe just to be robbed, but I do suspect that she was in on it.
