i would think that if either of JC's parents were snitches, that they would most likely be the targets of revenge. then again, they say there is nothing worse that losing a child.....
it seems that the perps were almost definitely connected to JC or LS's inner circle and knew about the house-sitting situation, and siezed that opportunity.
also, i think that the late teens/ early 20's years are rampant for craziness and drama. all these kids are finding their way in the world and doing new things and unfortunately some of these things are incredibly horrible things.
i don't think it's right to directly blame video games and violent tv shows and movies, but when you combine them with drugs, poverty, desperation, no regard for decency nor humanity, thugism, eminem wannabe's, etc. and crazy ass shit seems to happen.......
I totally DO blame them for desensitizing kids to violence, especially kids growing up in less than ideal homes and environments.
