Just want to hit on this,because there is a security system doesn't mean it was used.There is a dog or puppy mentioned in this crime.The dog or pup was under the couch? I think.If motion senses were in the house and pet is left loose maybe the security book was being read by johnny and lisa to bypass the sensors,maybe didn't work so they didn't bother to set the alarm.Maybe they didn't feel threatened by anyone so they felt safe to leave it off.Wonder if the dog was tasered or injured could have happened before they came home.I guess LE will look at security history.This is just my thoughts.
