I have heard of people say shoot a game of pool when asking a dealer for an eightball of cocaine

I'm sure that pool is code for drugs, and wish to hell I could remember where I read it! Does it only mean cocaine though? Could it also mean heroin?

Just looked it up on the drug slang dictionary and an eightball can refer to coke, crack, and heroin.

Thanks, KarmaK. It's probably irrelevant which drug it was, but GF referred to TW as a heroin dealer and I was looking for a link to what she said about shooting pool that night. I think it's a possibility that if JC was planning a buy that night from TW, he may have phoned her & ZB when he and Lisa got home to tell them to come by. She could have called him back to make arrangements, which would match cellphone records, and she later concocted a white bread story around it.
