As far as "what" they wanted to steal- I have no guess on this. So many rumors about drug use, which creates a possibility, but nothing verified that there were drugs- and yet, the family lived in a nice home with nice things- which could of been incentive, and yet, they were not touched- so it is hard to tell- and with walls kicked in, the Uncle believes they thought there was a safe... so many possibilities on "what" they could want to steal- or thought they might find...
Pages in the first 20 here said the house alarm cables outside had been cut.
